All rehab services provided at Waterfront Physio are registered and therefore are covered under most group insurance benefits.
Many people don’t know this, so a large position of their hard earned insurance benefits go un-used. These benefits cannot be carried over year to year, so they are simply lost.
If you are being treated for injuries sustained in a car accident or a work related injury, we do not require payment directly from you. After your initial assessment, we will submit the appropriate proposed treatment plan to your insurance company and upon approval of the plan, we can bill your insurance company or WSIB directly.
Electronic Direct Billing is available through number of major insurance providers. As such Waterfront Physio and Rehab shall bill for services directly to insurance companies where allowed. The extent of coverage greatly varies from one plan to another. Most insurances cover 80-100% per visit.
Please remember to bring to your first visit the benefits/insurance card so we may add it to the file. Its always beneficial to ask your insurer or employer following before the first visit:
- How much are you covered for yearly?
- Is there a deductible you should know about?
- How much are you covered on a per treatment bases?
- What services are covered under your benefits plan? (Physio, Chiro, Massage etc.)
We accept nearly all major insurance plans.
When applicable and upon the patient’s request, Waterfront Physio & Rehab's administrative staff submits insurance claims directly to Extended Health Plan providers. Depending on patients’ eligibility this amount or a portion of it will be reimbursed by plan provider(s).
