Practitioners are often encouraged to ask questions and discuss case load with other therapists within the organization to provide collaborative care environment. 2. Calm and clean workspace
For a long-lasting relationship, we understand the importance of calm and clean environment. Waterfront Physio & Rehab promotes itself as boutique multidisciplinary clinic offering a more personalized experience. We want our staff and practitioners to be at peace and worry free, so they bring the best out of them when treating clients.
Some of our initiatives include:
- Keeping the space as tidy as possible
- No overlapping so therapists have one patient at a time
- Access to staff room to take breaks in between if required
- Flexibility in setting their own schedule
3. Teamwork & Mentorship
We always wanted to create a supportive environment where team members feel valued and comfortable to ask for help. Which is why we encourage mentorship in a team setting where team members learn from each other, develop skills and collaborate effectively.
At the foundation are our values/ethos where everyone is felt welcomed and not afraid to ask any questions. This has so far helped us in making stronger relationships with our practitioners and create a more positive/supportive workplace culture.
4. Work life balance
A good work-life balance means you can be happy and productive at work and also have time for yourself and your family. We at Waterfront Physio & Rehab believe that having a good live/work balance can lead to a sense of well-being, reduced stress, and reduced burnout there by encouraging you to perform at your best.
Working as a team we encourage our therapists and staff to talk to each other; be it light talks, vacation plans or just weekend projects. We are flexible about time offs from work as well as encourage time for personal activities.
Some of the initiatives include:
- Flexibility in allowing staff/practitioners to take time off
- Access to laptop or computer for taking notes
- Avoiding booking outside scheduled practitioner times
- Teamwork and mentorship available from fellow colleagues
5. Attractive percentage split OR hourly rate
Finally, our practitioners are offered an attractive percentage split or hourly rate for their services. The aim is to creäte a long-lasting relationship with therapists, so they remain with the organization for a long time.
We only work with licensed practitioners and understand how hard is it for them to get there. Offering competitive pay and flexible work arrangements has worked well for us and we want to continue hiring and retaining the best practitioners.
